Canton Veneers and Implants

Orthodontic care is aimed at diagnosing and performing treatment for teeth irregularities.  Orthodontia is a great way to enhance and improve the way you feel about your smile.  Canton Valley Dental offers a wide range of orthodontic treatment options for children and adults.  We have a range of removable and fixed appliances used to correct functional problems.  Braces are used to align and level teeth to the proper position, using traditional metal or clear ceramic brackets.  If braces are not an option for you, we also use a clear aligner system.  The benefit of clear aligners is that they are invisible and removable.  We also have fixed and removable retainers to maintain your beautiful new smile.

How Braces work

Braces are designed to provide constant but soft pressure while gently guiding the teeth into their proper position.  Treatment time ranges from 6 to 24 months depending on the severity of your case.  Your participation in the process greatly influences the results of your treatment.

Fixed or removable appliances

Fixed and removable appliances are used to correct functional problems, such as thumb sucking habits, dental cross bites and dental malocclusion.  Treatment time ranges from 6 to 9 months.

Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners are used for minor repositioning of teeth.  Treatment time ranges from 1 to 6 months depending on how many aligners are needed.

Retainers are used to maintain the final position of your teeth.

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment method that uses a series of clear, removable aligner trays to straighten teeth. They are practically invisible to the naked eye and a popular option for individuals seeking more discrete treatment methods. With Invisalign, you don’t wear metal braces. Instead, your teeth are straightened by wearing a series of clear plastic aligners.  The aligners are so inconspicuous that most people won’t be able to tell you’re wearing them.

Dr. Matt is an Invisalign trained doctor.
