Brianna, RDH
Brianna has been with Canton Valley Dental for 13 years and has over 9 years of experience in dental hygiene. She lives in Simsbury, Connecticut, with her husband and two sons. As a family, they enjoy beach trips, biking, and spending time with loved ones. In her free time, Brianna enjoys reading and baking bread.
Amy, RDH
Amy has been practicing dental hygiene since 2009 and joined Canton Valley Dental in 2020. She resides in Simsbury with her husband, son, and their animals.
Amy’s interests include sports, especially watching her son play, rescuing animals, family vacations to Maine, and reading.
Monique, RDH
Monique has been with Canton Valley Dental since 2021. In addition her position here, she’s also a clinical instructor with the dental hygiene program at Tunxis. She and her husband Brian are the proud parents of their two amazing kids ~ Hannah and Noah! She’s very family and food oriented, and loves any opportunity to combine the two!!
As the office “mom”, she’s very proud to be part of a team that not only provides excellent care to patients, but also gives back to the community.
Amy, CDA, RDH
Amy has been a part of Canton Valley Dental for three years. She has worked as a dental hygienist for more than 30 years and has built lasting relationships with her patients while helping them maintain their oral health.
Outside of her career, Amy is a proud mom of two adult children and is excited to soon welcome her first grandchild. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places and cooking meals to share with family and friends..
Danielle, RDH
Danielle is a registered dental hygienist who earned her dental hygiene degree in San Diego, California, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
She currently resides in Barkhamsted with her fiancé and their three young children.
Chrissy, RDH
Chrissy is a dental hygienist with 16 years of experience, including 12 in pediatric dentistry. In addition to her dental career, she has worked as an emergency room technician and in a blood bank, where she developed strong skills in patient care and calm communication under pressure. Born in New Britain, Connecticut, and now residing in Bristol, Chrissy is passionate about helping patients of all ages feel confident about their smiles.
Fun fact: Chrissy graduated from Briarwood College in 2009 alongside her good friend and fellow hygienist, Amy H. When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her daughter, Isla, and their dog, Blue.
Jaclyn, RDH
Jaclyn has been working as a hygienist since 2007. Prior to that she was a dental assistant. She has always loved the relationships that are built with this career and being able to help patients have the best teeth possible.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. She also enjoy house projects, furniture restoration and exercising.
Maria, RDH
Maria started working at CVD in August 2021, the same year she graduated from Tunxis! CVD has been her home ever since. In her free time, she likes to garden and spend time with her family at their lake house.
She has a chocolate lab named Boo and a Flemish giant rabbit named Rambo. She loves educating and making patients comfortable when getting their teeth cleaned!
Michelle (Shelly), RDH
Shelly has been part of the Canton Valley Dental team since April 2023, but her connection to this office goes back much further. She grew up coming to Canton Valley Dental as a patient. She graduated from Tunxis Community College and has been working as a dental hygienist for 30 years. Throughout her career, she’s had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings, including periodontal practices, pediatric dentistry, and family dental offices.
Shelly truly enjoys helping patients understand the benefits of excellent oral hygiene and how it supports their overall health. It’s especially rewarding to now care for patients in the same practice where her own journey in dental health began.
Tracy, CDA
Tracy, Certified Dental Assistant & Lead Dental Assistant, graduated from Tunxis Community College with a degree in dental assisting in 1991.
She joined the Canton Valley Dental team in January of 1994, where she provides exceptional dental care to all of her patients. When she is not working, she loves to travel with her husband.
Taylor, CDA
Taylor has been part of the Canton Valley Dental family since 2019. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease. She works closely with the doctors on a variety of procedures and especially enjoys assisting with orthodontic treatments and oral surgery.
Taylor graduated from Porter and Chester Institute in 2018 and has been passionate about dental care ever since. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends and making new memories. Be good, do good, God bless, and go Bills!
Stephanie, DA
Stephanie has been with Canton Valley Dental since October 2022. Outside of work she enjoy spending time with her husband, two daughters, and dog Gunner!
They love going to the beach, and being outdoors as much as possible.
Chris, DA
Born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut, Chris has called the community home for nearly their entire life, aside from a few years spent in Utah while attending Weber State University. With a degree in Microbiology and more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, Chris is passionate about educating patients and helping them feel confident in their dental health.

Melanie, DA
Melanie has been a dental assistant since 2020 and truly loves helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. Her favorite part of the job is making a positive difference in each patient’s experience and seeing their smile at the end of their appointment.
Jae, DA
Originally from the Hudson Valley, Jae brings more than 26 years of experience in the dental field to Canton Valley Dental. He values building strong connections with both coworkers and patients, ensuring each individual enjoys a smooth, comfortable visit.
Outside the office, Jae is an avid hiker and enjoys spending his free time with his husband, their daughter, and their two dogs.
